Description

Italian Late garlic

A softneck variety known for its robust flavor and medium heat. It produces large, white bulbs with tight skins that help them store well, making it ideal for extending the garlic harvest season

This variety of garlic has consistently produced some big bulbs for me from 2012 onward, whether in drought, in very wet conditions, or in milder winters. It’s a very reliable garlic with many, many layers. Cloves are fat, and the wrappers are generally tight.

Culinary Italian Late Garlic

While most Italian garlics are generally mild, this particular variety stands out. Depending on the conditions in which it is grown, it can exhibit a very hot and robust flavor.
