Unknown Spanish

A beautifully LARGE artichoke variety of soft neck garlic. I found my first bulbs in a high-end supermarket that imports organic products from other countries. The manager confirmed that this variety came directly from Spain. When I first bought the bulbs, they were four per pound!!! That were THAT huge. I've been growing them out for a few years, and they are doing very, very well in Kentucky's hot and humid summers. However, they produce a lot of witches broom if they get too much water (which we normally do get each spring). Therefore, all my biggest bulbs broomed and aren't good for sale (but they are GREAT for planting, and I'm using them for my seed stock). IF they hadn't broomed, they would easily have been a 1/4# each!!!! So, if you think you can replicate Spain's climate, I would highly suggest you get some of this beautiful, tasty, and large garlic!!
