FRENCH GREY shallots.
This is the LAST year I will be selling this variety. Inventory is low, so grab what you can.
Expect high yields. French Grey is known for about a 15:1 yield!!!
Harvest when half the tops have withered or when your tops are still half-green.
Hang to dry/cure as you would garlic.
Easy to use: cut off the top, cut off the bottom. Slice it lengthwise and each half will fall out of the skins. You do not have to peel the skins like regular shallots or onions.
Sold by the 1/2 and full pound.
NOT known to be a long storing garlic, so eat and enjoy as soon as you can. Mine started sprouting and/or drying out indoors come late November.
