A beautifully big artichoke-variety of garlic with super big cloves. It's my first time growing it, and I was impressed!
Not too many garlic stores carry this variety. This popular soft neck is white-skinned with some occasional pink. It’s also one of our best varieties for roasting. Your color will vary, and the whiteness depends upon quick drying in not-so-humid environments. Kentucky is very humid, so my skins aren't as crisp or as white as some.
I've heard this variety is widely adaptable. All I know is it did very well for me, giving me a 5x+ return on what I planted. I hope to be able to offer even more of this lovely garlic in 2022!
About 30% of these bulbs are cracked.
Any of the garlic varieties I have available for seed can be ordered as Culinary Garlic until stock runs out.
