MEXICAN RED SILVER GARLIC - culinary bulbs

Mexican Red Silver is another Silverskin variety that will store very well. It was one of two varieties that stayed green the longest in my garden. Since I am downsizing next year and eliminating some of the varieties I sell in order to have more inventory of the better producers, 2025 is the last year I will have this variety for sale.

It's a Silverskin variety with an artichoke layering system inside. It's one of the latest garlic to be harvested, and it's one of the best to braid (as are all silver skins). Silverskins are known for good storage ability. The previous varieties I used to grow stored for almost a year in a cool room through winter.

This may be the last year for this variety. It doesn't size up as well as my Nootka Rose.
